Creative Harmony

Creative Harmony means more than simply Interior Design; it also means helping the individual to develop an environment which fosters and ripens his or her own potential. This could be in the workplace, within close relationships or in recreational spaces.

You can tailor-make your home and workspace to help achieve emotional and mental balance: by using crystals (and sea salts or incense sticks to cleanse them), by burning white sage leaves to purify your home, or for use after an emotional outburst. You can transform difficult energy into a harmonious dynamic one; thus making the atmosphere more whole.

By using your own imagination and feelings, you can find your own individual way of expression and way to satisfy your wants and needs.

Personally, I love to use candles, incense and the Bach Flower Remedy Crab Apple to cleanse the atmosphere and transform it into the one I want. You can use your intuition to change the feeling of your work or living space.

There is certainly a correlation between how people best use the space they have and fulfilling their potential.

A practice often employed in Poland and Mexico is to use an egg for self protection. It can be useful to cleanse a new home with an egg before moving in; the eggs will remove any spiritual negativity that may be present. This provides a more harmonious vibration in the new residence and reduces the time it takes to make you feel at home there. Simply place an egg in every corner of each room of the house, and leave them in place for seven days. At the end of this period the eggs should be thrown out, without crushing or breaking them. Because the eggs absorb negative energies from the areas where they have been placed, they are a useful tool in spiritual protection and cleansing.

In Nature an egg is a place from which new life can hatch and fundamentally grow. An egg itself is magical, being the house of a new life. Symbolically it is all about new life; but like everything it has to be viewed in perspective. For example, an artist’s vocation could be painting on eggs and so he may not see it in the same way. Normally, though, when you dream about an egg, it is about some plan that hasn’t hatched yet, but has potential. It has been laid, so it could be the birth of an idea and it is very exciting.

“Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behaviours. Keep your behaviours positive because your behaviours become your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny.” ~ Ghandi
